DEVELOP NEW CAREER GOALS OR DIRECTIONS

Work can be a source of satisfaction, meaning, frustration, stress, or all of these. We spend a large portion of our lives at work, so it has a major impact on our quality of life. The more you are able to choose your direction, set your goals, and become empowered to pursue those goals, the more likely it is that you will be happy in your career.

Your goals might involve receiving more fulfillment from your work. Or, perhaps you are interested in becoming more organized at work, achieving a better work-life balance, establishing better relationships with co-workers or supervisors, or pursuing career advancement. You may even decide that you want to move in entirely new career directions. After identifying the sources of your discomfort with work, you could even decide that your career-related goals include pursuing further education.
